(a² – c²) / (b² – d²) = ac / bd
If a : b = c : d, then prove that (a² – c²) / (b² – d²) = ac / bd
उत्तर: माना a/b = c/d = k ⇒ a = bk, c = dk
LHS = (a² – c²) / (b² – d²) = (b²k² – d²k²) / (b² – d²) = k²(b² – d²) / (b² – d²) = k²
RHS = ac / bd = (bk × dk) / bd = bd k² / bd = k²
2x + y = 8
x – 2y = -1
Solve the equations – 2x + y = 8, x – 2y = -1
अथवा (OR)
For what value of k, system of equation kx – 5y = 2, 6x – 2y = 7 has a unique solution.
Check whether g(x) is a factor of p(x), if g(x) = x – 3, p(x) = x³ – 4x² + x + 6
Find the sum of odd numbers between 100 and 200.
अथवा (OR)
Find the sum of natural numbers between 1 and 100 which are divisible by 3.
यहाँ a = 101, d = 2, l = 199
l = a + (n – 1)d ⇒ 199 = 101 + (n – 1)2 ⇒ 98 = (n – 1)2 ⇒ n – 1 = 49 ⇒ n = 50
योगफल Sn = (n / 2)(a + l) = (50 / 2)(101 + 199) = 25 × 300 = 7500
A person deposits ₹ 150 per month in a recurring deposit account for 2 years. Find the amount he will get at the time of maturity at the rate of 6% per annum.
अथवा (OR)
A person deposited ₹ 20,000 for one year in a fixed deposit account. If the rate of interest is 6% per annum and the interest is compounded every six months, then what amount will he get after one year?
ब्याज (I) = P × (r / 100) × [n(n + 1) / (2 × 12)]
I = 150 × (6 / 100) × [24 × 25 / 24] = 150 × 0.06 × 25 = ₹ 225
